The Signature Series

Creating Lasting Outcomes with Measurable Results in Your Organization

This series presents Pensacola Bay Area business leaders an opportunity to build a better, stronger business by developing better relationships with their employees.

To move an organization from one level of performance to another in a single year, the organization’s entire leadership must simultaneously implement best practices and actions urging improvement. Organizations all over the country have been so guided by the Studer Group -- with lasting results. The Signature Series is a partnership between PPDI and the Studer Group for the measured, sustainable improvement of businesses and non-profits of the Pensacola Bay Area.

Four sessions, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., are held during the last six months of the year. Heavy on implementation, they include follow-up coaching between sessions , providing accountability and customization for your specific organization. This program is designed for complete participation by your business’ leadership team, and is most effective when the entire team commits to becoming involved. Several local organizations participated in the past and report considerable improvement in their organizational culture.

Allow the Signature Series to make a difference in your organization. Expect to have lasting improved organization performance both in numbers and in community impact. To register, click here or call 850-332-7820. Cost is $500 per participant.

Session One

Session One covers the three most powerful tactics a company can adopt: high, middle, and low conversations; rounding for outcomes; and managing up. Even if a leader takes none of the other suggestions in the series, he or she usually finds that implementing these three tactics leads to big dividends.

Leaders will learn to:

• Deal with low performing employees • Develop and retain high performing employees • Find out how to connect with what your employees want • Manage “up” yourself, your leader, your team, and your organization • Manage priorities with your supervisor • Conduct meetings that generate results • Become a results-oriented leader

Session Two - Leadership - The Core Tactics

This session covers the philosophy behind the tactics and explains the intricacies of reducing leadership variance, measuring the important things, aligning behaviors with goals and values, and training leaders. It creates the foundation of an organization so all employees are working toward the same goals and all employees are held accountable.

Leaders will learn to:

• Ignite and sustain passion in their workforce • Identify and standardize behaviors that generate results • Measure the right things to track performance • Use accountability tools to align goals and values • Create and develop the next generation of leaders

Session Three - Tactics for Engaging Employees

Here, we will learn how to determine what employees really want from us—which is the heart of evidence-based leadership—and how to give it to them. We will also learn how to build individual accountability in people and how to benefit from the wealth of knowledge our employees possess.

Leaders will learn to:

• Grow and sustain employee satisfaction • Select and retain top talent • Tap into the knowledge of your workforce • Identify your employees’ “what” • Set clear performance expectations • Conduct behavioral and peer interviewing • Find and recognize the difference makers in your business • Recognize and reward staff

Session Four - Creating Customer Loyalty

This critical session discusses various tools and techniques leaders can use to build a culture around service. When an organization understands what “great service” really looks like to its customers, it has a much greater likelihood of consistently providing it. The result is that customers keep coming back and refer us to their friends, family members, and colleagues.

Leaders will learn to:

• Build a culture around service • Increase customer loyalty by exceeding customer expectations • Use key words to enhance customers’ experience • Use standards of behavior to build a culture of service • Round on your customers • Use key words at key times
